Shutters are an excellent choice for your bedroom, with so many options and colours available to suit your home’s style. They offer more privacy than curtains, and more versatility than blinds, giving you flexibility between day and night. As they’re a semi-permanent fixture in your home, they can also help protect against break ins and broken windows.
When looking for bedroom shutters, there are some styles that work really well, such as full height shutters, which cover the window from top to bottom. To add more flexibility to your shutters you could also invest in tier-on-tier, which cover the window with two shutters that operate separately. These are especially good for older houses with sash windows.
